What to Expect

What’s your Style?

Photo-journalistic, authentic, emotional and timeless, my mission is to artistically document your session that tells your personal story. It’s more than just taking pictures, it's about observing human interactions and anticipating that little moment before it's gone. The result is a raw, candid style that captures your story in an honest and natural way, discovering heart-felt and romantic moments.

What can I expect from a session?

It's all about exploring and having fun, filling the air with laughter and letting your hair run wild! You will receive a questionnaire to fill out that will help determine expectation as well as a guide to a stress free session. Depending on the package selected, your pictures will become available within two weeks via a downloadable online gallery.

What if I know nothing about modeling?

Each session is unique and individual. It can be as fun or intimate as you want. There is no need to "model" in this environment, you will be guided (coached) through prompts and clear direction that will help capture those perfectly candid moments.

What should I wear?

A complete session preparation guide will be available for all clients prior to every session. It will include information about outfits, hair/makeup, and other useful tips to help eliminate stress from your experience. I also have some items you can borrow during a session.

What if my child doesn't cooperate?

I have LOTS of patience...I'll give you some tips on how to have a stress free session. Usually, the candid grumpy photos are the best photos - however, if your child is not cooperating during the session, we will take lots of breaks, and extend time. Or reschedule if needed! I understand that kids can be unpredictable.

Will I get charged if session goes over allotted time?

Of course not. The time on my pricing page are average time of shooting in order to get the images required for each packages. It's solely based to shooting time. It doesn't include bathroom breaks, changing clothes,or walking to locations. If a child needs to take a break or nurse, I will be happy to wait as long as you need. I do my best to quickly and smoothly photograph the session in a timely matter but breaks are more than welcome and encourage if anyone lost interest or is not in a bad mood.

What happens if we are late to our session? Will you extend it?

Each session is booked in advance to take advantage of lighting, setting, and atmosphere. The session times are typically not flexible due to these reasons. If timely notice is provided than an extension may be granted without additional charge. If no notice is given and the client is substantially late or a no show than they will lose their deposit.

I do my best to arrive early to scout the location, but if I am late for any reason than I will do my best to extend the time given the circumstances. If the time is not sufficient and the shoot becomes unsuccessful than I will refund the deposit. The client will receive priority booking if they choose to reschedule.
POST PRODUCTION

Do you include imagery in RAW format?

Unfortunately I do not deliver RAW files to clients because of creative licensing. You will receive an email with an invitation to download your set of high resolution .jpg images that are suitable for prints, albums and wall art.

Who edits the photographs? Are they highly photoshoped?

All photos are edited in my signature style and digitally optimized in professional photo editing software. Every image is meticulously developed to represent a piece of fine artistry and is print worthy. Although digitally edited photographs can remove blemishes and other undesirable traits, the final imagery will still have a sense of character, individuality, and highlight your greatest attributes.

Do you provide every image you shoot? How many images do you deliver?

No and you wouldn’t want them! I eliminate, same poses and unfaltering expressions or poses. The client will receive the best images taken from their session. The quantity of images provided is dependent on the package purchased. If you would like more Images than the package provided please let me know in advance. I do focus on quality over quantity. Please review the investment catalog for more details.

How long will it take to Receive My Gallery?

An invitation to download your story will be provided within two weeks from the completed session. A sneak-peak preview can be provided upon request. Expedient Delivery is available.

Can I print my own Images?

Yes. You will be provided a print release along with an invitation to download your story as final high-res images. Once downloaded, you have the freedom to do with them as you please. All clients are provided access to an exclusive, professional quality printing service via your personal online gallery where you can order prints and wall art. Additional fee may apply.
PAYMENT

How do I book a reservation?

Bookings are reserved on a first come first serve basis. A retaining fee is required to "hold" a reservation which is counted towards total payment. A signed contract and deposit are regarded as the retaining fee. A limited number of photo sessions are available each year, so please reserve your date as soon as possible.

Is the retaining fee refundable?

The retaining fee is non-refundable if the cancellation date is within a month of the schedules booking. There will be no fee if the session is rescheduled within a month of the confirmed booking. However, some unforeseeable circumstances may warrant a full refund or reschedule without a fee at my discretion.

Is there an additional fee if we pay via credit card?

Yes. The retail adjustment fee for all credit card transactions is 3% of the charged amount. All payments can be processed online.

Is tax included?

Taxes are included. The rates provided in the Investment catalog are final billing price. No hidden Fees.

Do you charge for travel?

If the location is more than 15 miles outside of Aliso Viejo, CA than an additional charge may occur per the recommendation set within the California Code of $0.60 per mile. These items can be negotiated and addressed at the time of contract.

We are ready to book! What's next?

I can’t wait to work with you! Please contact me explaining which package you are interested in, desired dates, and locations to initiate the booking process. You will be provided a contract and method to submit your session deposit online. $50 is due upon booking to reserve your date, and the remainder is due on the day of your session. Soon after you have paid your retaining fee, a short questionnaire will be provided to specify the details of your booking.

What is the most important aspect in choosing a photographer?

Loving there photograph style. Connection and chemistry.

Do you offer Discounts?

The simple and sweet answer is, No. We do offer a generous referral program. Stay connected via social media as there are many opportunities for promotions.

Do you offer albums and prints?

Of course! You will be provided an exclusive invitation to access our affiliated professional lab via your online gallery. If you need help accessing your gallery or would like additional design support in creating an album feel please feel free to contact me.

When will I hear from you?
